It is also reported that when Transocean and GlobalSantaFe merged in 2007, they will have an order backlog of $33 billion.
As the China and Indian markets keep expanding rapidly there will only be more oil companies investing in oil exploration, drilling, production and more oil rigs. All of this evidence points to a strong future for the oil industry.
